Feature Friday | Loreal Rushin | A Lively New Orleans Wedding

Loreal and John were one of our last “normal” weddings before the Covid chaos — and they definitely went out with a BANG! Every lively detail of this New Orleans destination wedding was perfectly captured by the very talented Lance Nicoll.

Bridal Beauty Prep

Loreal’s wedding was so much fun to be a part of. This sweet bride prepped for her big day at the beautiful Hotel Monteleone on Royal Street in New Orleans. Tina, head artist and owner of Verde Beauty Studio, created a gorgeous look for Loreal on her wedding day!

Tina chose to enhance Loreal’s already natural beauty with a fresh makeup look. She styled a romantic textured updo so Loreal could show off the dramatic back to her stunning Julie Vino gown and the cathedral length veil that she wore for her ceremony.

It's all in the Details

To Have + to Hold

After a romantic first look in some of the most beautiful streets of the city, the couple exchanged vows at the St. Louis Cathedral and then kicked off the celebration with Kinfolk Brass Band leading a second line to their reception at the elegant Marché.

Party the Night Away

Loreal and John treated their guests to a delicious Creole feast complete with beignets and café au lait for dessert. Kinfolk rounded everyone up one last time and led the party over to Pat O’Brien’s to finish off the night with some of their infamous Hurricaines!

This sweet couple and their guests truly experienced the best of the French Quarter
