Welcome to our Team Page - I’m Tina Rodosta,
owner + trainer for Verde Beauty. I’m a makeup artist/ hairstylist

It all started when…

I got my start in makeup sales in 2002 and from there found my passion in bridal beauty in 2006. I teamed up with a hair stylist to offer on site hair and makeup in 2007 and in 2010 grew my team.

Verde Beauty has been a dream of mine for so many years - I remember being a waitress and saying “One day I’ll be doing event hair and makeup as a career!” and here we are. For the last 12 years I have been a full time event hair + makeup artist, being so lucky to travel nationally and internationally for weddings and events. Sharing your wedding day with you, making it the most amazing day of your life, is WHY I do this - the “I’m getting married” butterfly feeling I get to see with my brides

I LOVE my Temptu Airbrush machine - I have been a Temptu Pro Artist for YEARS - nothing beats it in NOLA summer heat! I’d have to say fav product is the MAC Cosmetics Black Track Liner - LOVE a good waterproof liner!

Fav Place to Vacation :

Cozumel & Tulum, Mexico! I adore sipping margaritas on a beach with some fresh ceviche & chips. I’m easy to please when it comes to vacations.

If I’m not working, I am:

Doing more work (photographing boudoir), yoga & traveling. On a true off night I will be cuddled up with my dog and watching tv in bed!

“All I have to say is thank god for Tina. Tina was more than just my hair and make up artist she was my rock through this covid wedding process. I went through 3 covid wedding reschedules with her. She kept me positive and calm and optimistic through it all. I was extremely devistated when I had to cancel with Tina because I would be no longer getting married in Nola. But Tina saved the day rescheduled with me once again and got on a plane to Denver for my back yard wedding. Our professional management team handles negotiations, bookings/ followups and scheduling for our artistry team so that they can focus on improving their skills and client experience.

Our Mission :

We believe in supporting professional artists that create elevated beauty experiences.

The Verde team of artists will travel to your location on the wedding day. We bring the makeup studio to your location so that you and your friends may get ready in the comfort of your own home or hotel.. If you are in need of a location for your bridal party to get ready, you are more than welcome to use our studio.

Bridal is our passion but also frequently work on fashion and beauty projects.. We work with  so many talented artists and photographers all over Southern Louisiana and Mississippi. We are very particular about who represents the Verde Beauty brand and hold our artists to a high standard of conduct and skill to create a team of like minded artists focused on creating beauty and joy with our artistry.

If you are interested in - 
    -working with a team of artists in the wedding beauty field
    -being a part of some one's "most important" day on weekends
    -building a strong beauty portfolio
    - giving back to our area by participating in charitable events

Please note the following expectations - 
     - cosmetology or esthetics license // makeup school training
     - a firm understanding of color, shape & tone
     - a sense of urgency, purpose, flexibility and people skills
     - no prior commitments that would interfere with weddings (Saturdays open)
