Throwback Thursday | Connie Z. | White Oak Estate + Gardens

We had to take it back to 2018 and share this classic wedding photographed by Second Line Photography - Connie was a stunning bride and we are so happy to choose to be on #TeamVerde for her big day...everyone at Verde Beauty Studio absolutely loved working with Connie. We did prep for Connie at the Hilton Downtown Capital Center before she took the party to White Oak Estate and Gardens.

How cute is this first look - I just love that Connie shared these adorable images that show HIS reaction!

Before the "I DO"s...

How They Met :

"Matthew and I actually met on Tinder. For our first date, we went to dinner and a movie. While we were getting to know each other, we exchanged horror Tinder date stories and to burn some time before the movie, we went to the mall and goofed around in Spencer's. I quickly realized that this was a guy that could make me laugh, and that I could also be my goofy self around. I didn't have to pretend that I was someone else. After that, we saw a terrible movie. When he dropped me back off at my apartment, he went in for a hug and accidentally gave me a right hook in the face. He was super embarrassed, which I thought was super cute. A year later, he told me now that he didn't think he was going to get a second date after that, haha!"

The Proposal :

"My best friend and I planned a couples trip to the Hang Out festival in Gulf Shores, AL. What I didn't realize at the time was that Matthew and my best friend, Morgan, were conspiring together for the proposal. Before the Hang Out Festival started, the night before we were going to have a double date at a fancy restaurant. Before we went to dinner, we decided to take a sunset walk on the beach. I remember having a feeling that everyone was acting super weird. While walking with Matthew on the beach, I remember him starting off the conversation as "So, we've been dating for a really long time..." and I had this little voice in my head telling me he was about to propose, but I couldn't believe it! Matthew gave me gift that wasn't the ring at first because he tried to trick me. He gave me a necklace that looked like the snitch from Harry Potter. It was a locket and when I opened it up, it said, "Will you marry me?" The next thing I knew he was on one knee in the sand!"

What made you choose where you got married? :
