Feature Friday | April | House of Blues New Orleans

April got ready at the Royal Sonesta on Bourbon St with a fabulous group of friends and family. Not only did we get to work with the ever our long time friends a Studio Vieux Carre on video they saved the day when with the screen grabs below. <3 <3

One of the things we love about the Royal Sonesta is the large windows that open to the balconies. We get asked a lot how much space we need and it varies on the party and how many artists we need to bring along.

In the spring and fall opening those doors up creates the best light and we are able to double the size of the prep location!

Elite Level Artist Bailey did a BEAUTIFUL Job capturing April’s wedding day style in a look that lasted the entire night!

Check out more of Bailey’s work here!

I’m such a momma’s girl that I HAD to share this super cute photo of April and her mom! Just look how cute she is in her own wedding day jammies that perfectly coordinate with the bridal party!

PRO TIP

Make sure that mom is able to get ready BEFORE you so that she can be ready to get you into your dress! Nothing is worse than making mom feel rushed on the wedding day so we take extra care to make sure that she is ready before things start really moving!

What a seriously great looking krewe and so much fun! I love that they had a peddle carts bring them to the wedding and a second line through the French Quarter - not to mention a wedding in the Parish Room at the House of Blues!
