Wedding Wednesday | Fallon Lambert | A New Orleans Wedding

Fallon and Paul tied the knot this past February in New Orleans. They had a lovely ceremony at St Francis of Assisi Church, followed by an exciting reception at The Audubon Tea Room. Every moment of this fun-filled evening was captured perfectly by Brandon O’Neal Photography.

The Proposal:

How did you meet?

We met on Tinder first, then decided to meet in person at a bar. We decided to do a real date the next weekend and it’s been love ever since!

The Proposal

Paul proposed at the Zoo! We’re two chill bros that just really like the zoo. Our first real date was at the zoo. The Tea Room where we had our reception is at the zoo. Our first anniversary gift was Audubon member passes so we could have zoo dares.

Wedding Prep:

Fallon and her bridal party prepared for the big day at the elegant Terrell House in New Orleans. Fallon made sure her ladies were comfortable and stylish while getting ready by giving them monogrammed robes from Amazon.

Tina, Fallon’s BFF and owner of Verde Beauty Studio, created a timeless look for Fallon with a classic updo. Verde’s team of artists — Alyssa, Bailey and Cat — worked with Fallon’s gorgeous group of ladies. Each member of the bridal party chose a similar, but slightly different hairstyle, to match their personality. Fallon and her girls all looked flawless with their natural makeup and beautiful pop of color on their lips.

The Details:

What made you choose where you got married?

It’s the zoo…That’s where we had our first date and he proposed!

What were your special details or parts of the wedding that were specific to you?

Cake topper dogs were 3-D printed by Fallon. There was an alligator at the wedding. Our first dance was to Despacito.

What did you choose to do as your favors?

Animal masks and glow sticks

Did you incorporate any wedding traditions from you or your partner’s families?

We had a Catholic wedding does that count?

I also wore the same jewelry that my great grandmother wore and carried my grandmothers vintage rosary.

The Attire:

Fallon was absolutely stunning in a Pronovias gown from Town & Country. She accessorized her look with a gorgeous cathedral length veil that she borrowed from a friend and vintage heirloom jewelry that was her great-grandmother’s.

Paul wore a black suit from Tuxedos to Geaux accented with a black/gold polka dotted tie and pocket square from Nola Beaux Ties.

Advice for Future Brides:

Was there one thing you wish you would have known pre-wedding?

No, because I had good vendors that told me what to expect and I trusted and believed them.

Words of Advice for future brides?

Trust your vendors when they try to give you advice. These people spend their lives making special days happen for lots of people. They know what they’re doing. If they raise a red flag about one of your choices, then you need to reconsider.
