Wedding Wednesday | Savanna C. | White Magnolia

Verde Bride Savanna and her husband Landon got married at the White Magnolia and it was full of rustic charm. Team Verde, Tina and Karen created beautiful looks for these ladies. Savanna was a gorgeous fun bride!

Before the I do's...

How did you meet?

Landon and I met when we were 15 years old. We are high school sweethearts!

The Proposal

We love to scuba dive together. While we were diving in Destin, he pretending he had found a shell. When he opened it, I saw the sparkling ring! It was the last place I would have guessed he would propose.

Wedding Day Prep:

The wedding day prep took place in the Bridal Suite and the Groom Suite at the White Magnolia. The ladies wore custom shirts from Etsy. Savanna gifted her bridesmaids with a spa box and robe from Etsy.

Not only does Verde Beauty make sure the ladies are beautiful for the big day, but we make sure the men are just as handsome.

The Details:

What made you choose where you got married?

The venue felt like us-it has a sweet and rustic charm.

What were your special details or parts of the wedding that were specific to you?

We did a first look where I blindfolded him and took it off when I got right in front of him. It was a great surprise to see his face when I took it off! I chose to do miniature pies in different flavors instead of a wedding cake. Everyone loved the pies!

What did you choose to do as your favors?

Because it was Christmas time, we had white porcelain snowflake ornaments for favors. I handmade tags to put on them with our names and wedding date.

The Attire:

Savanna wore a beautiful Hayley Paige Blush Lorelei gown with lace sleeves and an open back, which her beautiful updo by Team Verde helped show off.  Her dress was accessorized with a couple of things that were "something old", her mother's engagement band and a necklace that her grandfather gave to her grandmother in high school. Her bridesmaids wore coordinating ivory dresses with a fur shawl to accommodate for the chilly weather.

The men kept with the rustic theme with navy blazers, jeans, and cowboy boots.

Advice for Future Brides:

Have fun and don't get caught up in the details. At the end of the day, you are marrying the love of your life. That is all that really matters.
