How did you meet?

Nate and I both got our first jobs at a startup in Lake Tahoe, NV. On my first day of work, Nate was in the lunch room and some of them invited me to sit with them. It was a lot of fun! We were on separate teams, but always found a way to get lunch together with friends.

**The Proposal**

I don't really like surprises, so I hinted at different locations of where I'd like to get proposed to.
When Nate told me he had a trip planned for Yosemite and we were staying at a cute A-Frame House, I knew it was going to happen in the next couple of days.
A friend of mine and her husband joined us for this trip, and they helped out with the photos and setup - it was so sweet!
The proposal didn't happen on the day HE expected either because my friends had to unexpectedly leave early. We were hiking in lower Yosemite and it was pouring. Once we got to a really open view point, he got down on his knee to propose!

What is one thing you wish you would have known pre-wedding?

I wish someone would have told us how fast the reception goes! We were enjoying all the aspects of a reception like cake cutting, bouquet tossing, and more...somehow 3 hours felt like 30 minutes!
