Vintage Glam in NOLA | Stephanie | Ace Hotel New Orleans

Sometimes my brides are so freaking cool - Stephanie is just that! When I walked in the room for her bridal prep (with a coffee for the bride from downstairs bc its my FAV coffee in the city!) it was like I was coming in to see an old friend. I could not have asked for a more laid back bride who put so much effort into her details without stressing - my kind of lady!

Everything about this wedding was so very personal and detailed, from the styling to the flowers, all with the help of her closest friends.

Wise words from our bride :

What is one thing you wish you would have known pre-wedding?

How great I’d feel day of. There’s so much stress leading up, but it was smooth sailing and happiness after the first look!

What made you choose where you got married?NOLA was our first vacation together and the first time to Nola for the both of us, we knew we wanted to elope some place special. When we decided NOLA, we knew we had to invite friends! We chose ace hotel specifically for the Barnett dining room’s aesthic

What were your special details or parts of the wedding that were specific to you?

We spent the first part of our day doing thing in NOLA that we love, just the two of us and our photog. The florals also had real fruit throughout. (My love of art history) we went dark and mood romantic

What did you choose to do as your favors?

I’m potter, and our favors were handmade mugs.

(Here is a link to her work - it is AMAZING!)

Did you incorporate any wedding traditions from you or your partners families?

I wore a lot of my grandparents Jewlery.

Words of Advice for future brides?

take in every moment. Remember small details and how you’re feeling. We sat back and watched our people enjoying themselves. That was really beautiful. PAY 💰 💵 for the good photographer! It’s 100 percent worth it!

Give me all the brides like Stephanie!!!

xoxo,
Tina

Yall. Yall. She TOLD me that her hair would end up in a clip at the end of the night! LOL
